Confetti is floating around the Depot Theatre once again as the magic of The Fantasticks is revisited once again in prep for Southeastern Theatre Conference. Today's cast member spotlights are the actors who play the two fathers in the show. If you have ever experienced parenting stubborn teenagers you will appreciate that the fathers use a little reverse psychology to get their children to follow their plans! You have to see the show to see how their plans backfire! Lee Bridges (Hucklebee) has performed in more than 100 productions at several theatres across the tri-county area. Among his favorite as Cornelius Hackl in Hello, Dolly!, Will Parker in Oklahoma!, Albert Peterson in Bye Bye Birdie and Doody in Grease. Depot audiences will remember his recent work in Noises Off and Blithe Spirit. Tom Salter (Bellemy) calls the Depot his second home. He has directed several shows including the award winning Second Samuel and is looking forward to his upcoming project, Boeing Boeing. He says he's a techie at heart and has designed lights for most of the Depot productions for the last four years. Tickets for the March 3 "Dinner and a Fantastick show" (6:30pm dinner, show 7:30pm) 334.868.1440 or wetumpkadepot.com
